Congratulations to Drew Dicksen and Greg
Magrum of Homer Heat Volleyball on their 2nd Place finish in the 18U
division of the North Coast Open - part of the USAV Junior National
Beach Volleyball Tour. This finish earned them a bid to play in
the
National Junior Beach Championships in Fort Lauderdale, Florida!!!
Welcome! Homer Athletic Club
Heat Volleyball is a USA Volleyball
sanctioned travel program for Jr. High and High School boys based in
Homer Glen, Illinois. Tryouts take place in September for our
three teams - 18U (Seniors and Juniors), 16U (Sophomores and Freshmen),
and 14U (7th & 8th Graders). Practices are held twice a week from
Oct. through Feb. We participate in two tournaments per month.
We also play in the Mayor Daley Sports Festival at McCormick Place in
December, the Gateway Boys Festival (national qualifier) in January and
the Great Lakes Boys Festival (national qualifier) in February.
